We believe there’s a number of reasons you should work with us. We’re professional and competent, with experience and a proven track record. But the best reason we have — and the reason clients keep coming back to us, time and time again — is that we give everything we do our best effort. We don’t sign off on a project until we’re happy with it and confident it’s our best work, and that’s something we’re proud of. We put our best effort into every project, and let the results speak for themselves.
Requirements — First we’ll find out what you’re looking for. This might involve emails or phone calls, or meeting with you in person. Sometimes this can be done in half an hour; for more complex projects it might take a few weeks — it’s up to you how we talk and how long you need to give us information.
The Proposal — By this stage we’ll have a clear idea of what you need, and we’ll draw up a detailed proposal and talk through this with you. If you want to proceed, we generally ask for our standard contract to be signed at this stage (with a 25% deposit to be paid, although this is negotiable depending on the size of the project).
Design Work — We’ll do any design work your project needs at this stage. You’ll see the work at every stage and be able to make revisions to suit, before signing off on the designs for your project. We’ll also perform any front-end development to web and accessibility standards as requested.
Development — Once the design stage has been completed, we’ll do any web development needed for your project. This might be as simple as integrating your website with a content management system, or it may be a complex development project — just leave it to us, and we’ll let you know as we’re progressing.
Testing — Once we’ve completed the development we’ll test your project ourselves to make sure it’s of a high standard. Sometimes, especially with complex features, we might ask you to test too — another check to make sure that you’re getting exactly what you asked for.
Evaluation — When you’re happy, we’ll both sign off on the project. We ask for the remaining balance to be paid at this time, along with some feedback. A few weeks later, we’ll contact you and make sure you’re still happy with the work we’ve completed.
All of our initial consultation is completely free. This includes any emails, phone calls, and meetings we have with you to prepare a specification for your project — should you not want to continue with the project after we’ve given you our proposal, it’s all completely free. That’s our proposal promise.
